Cavallo Bus Lines is a second-generation, family-owned and -operated
business with almost 60 years of continuous service. Pleasing our passengers with the best available equipment maintained in peak
condition has been our daily goal since 1942.
From the sparkling exteriors of our coaches to the warm voices and smiling faces of
our owners and staff, Cavallo Bus Lines' commitment to quality is evident.
Our distinctive charging
horse logo - Cavallo means horse in Italian - has been interpreted in a variety of striking green and gold designs over the years. It was also the first place winner of
the Coach Design Competition Charter/Tour Exterior Category sponsored by McGraw Bus Ride.
More importantly, Cavallo Bus Lines earned the highest rating - Satisfactory - in all three of its government motor carrier compliance
audits since the safety ratings were first implemented. The Illinois Department of Transportation has inspected Cavallo coaches
62 times in the past two years. None of the inspections resulted in any inconvenience to passengers or delay in schedule.
Maintenance on Cavallo motor coaches is among the highest in the industry. Our out-of-service rate is 3.1 percent; the
national average for our industry is eight times higher: 25.4 percent. And since its founding in 1942, Cavallo Bus Lines has
never had a fatality charged to it, and no passenger has ever been seriously injured. We maintain this outstanding record
while operating more than 61 coaches nationwide and logging more than three million miles per year.
